Current Openings (July 29, 2011):  INTERNSHIPS
Internships are open to individuals at least 18 years of age who are currently enrolled in college or an academic program. Ideally, your internship should be coordinated with your educational institution, which Development Advisors will help you arrange as needed.

Internship candidates should be able to write proficiently and conduct internet-based research at a minimum.  Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office is essential.  

Interns are expected to manage priorities and meet deadlines.  They must have attention for detail and accuracy.  Internship hours are flexible and office attire is typically business casual.

1. RESEARCH INTERNSHIP

Duties
Assignments include gathering competitive business intelligence, updating internal research systems and supporting consulting assignments.   Internships will help students develop skills in research and project management at a minimum.   Interns will collect various types of data, conduct analysis, and create actionable intelligence. Research topics range from economic data, community data, industry data, and more.

2. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MARKETING INTERNSHIP

Duties
Assignments include market research, development of marketing collateral and support of business development.   Internships will help students develop practical skills in marketing and strategy to support sales initiatives.   Marketing Interns will demonstrate the ability to write creatively with skill and accuracy, including business narratives and case studies.   Emphasis will include traditional forms of print media as well as social media.
