James Muir
Jamie Muir has enjoyed a long and successful career in the financial service industry, which includes executive experience on both the retail and commercial sides of banking.
During his diverse retail banking career, he held consumer lending and branch management positions with Dauphin Deposit Bank in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and analyst and regional management positions with Keystone National Bank in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In his final retail banking position, Jamie served as the Director of Cash Management at Main Street Bank, NA, where he provided oversight of a department that encompassed online banking, merchant services, credit card operations and automatic clearing house functions.
Prior to joining Development Advisors, Jamie spent the last ten years primarily in commercial real estate lending. He served as a Commercial Real Estate Team Leader and Vice President with Commerce Bank, NA, where he utilized his experience from a six-year tenure as Vice President and Senior Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager for Susquehanna Bank, Pennsylvania, to assist Commerce in entering new markets. As a commercial banker, he was responsible for the origination, analysis, and approval of over $350 million in commercial real estate loans. He has taken a lead role in all aspects of borrower negotiations, loan settlements and ongoing management of loan portfolios consisting of all types of commercial real estate products, including industrial, retail, multi-family, hotel and residential.
Jamie received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designee.
